Happy almost 4th of July everyone! Many of us see this holiday as a time to relax and gather with family and friends. Hopefully you are looking forward to such a gathering!
Are you searching for something different to celebrate this year? The standard burgers and hot dogs not quite cutting it? Then look through some of these ideas for new spins on old favorites!
Appetizer:
Bacon Bundle Won Ton Cups. - This recipe can easily be altered to fit your preferred fillings. Once cooked the won tons look a little like stars and are easy to enjoy!
Entrees:
Chicken Thighs with Raspberry BBQ Sauce - This recipe will give you just a little different take on the typical BBQ chicken. The homemade BBQ sauce that uses either fresh or frozen raspberries (which are almost ready to pick) gives the sauce a bit of sweetness and a bright beautiful color. You can also prepare the chicken on the grill, if desired.
High Protein Salsa Beef and Black Bean Burgers - This recipe stretches ground beef with high-protein and fiber containing black beans. The additions to this burger give it a Mexican-flavor twist, and keeps the burgers moist and delicious!
