Potato and Turnip Mash
Yukon Gold Potatoes and slightly peppery Turnips mashed together with Sour Cream and a touch of Butter.

Directions
In two medium saucepans, SEPARATELY bring turnips and potatoes (each with a baby leaf) to a boil in salted water over high heat. Cook until veggies are tender.
Drain each separately, discard bay leaf and return veggies to pan to dry slightly.
When ready to mash, use a hand masher or an electric mixer.
Add sour cream and butter and mash until mostly smooth.
Season to taste.

1 lb Yukon gold new potato, peeled and diced large
2 bay leaves
3 Tbsp. sour cream
1 Tbsp. butter
salt and pepper
